Yeah I’m baffled by that comment.

I’m pretty sure the logic is that a woman signs away her right to ever be empathized with as a person once she enters the convent, and also suddenly has the brain capacity of a toddler, rendering her incapable of watching movies and choosing a favorite. 

My thesis is that for a vocal subset of Jezzies, everything boils down to (and is judged by its applicability to) (hetero)sex. If your lifestyle does not allow for sloppy drunk makeout sessions with an assortment of bros, you are simply irrelevant to the world, in their view.

How feminist of them.
