They make presumptions about what a Catholic man “should be” and are just as bad as anyone saying that a Catholic woman “should be” a certain way.

Just everything about this. I already hated the “Hey Girl” meme (with the occasional exception of feministryangosling). This is just ruining Ryan Gosling for me.
Also, not only do these promote “unrealistic” expectations, but as shortbread basically pointed out, they are elevating AWFUL things to unrealistically “great” status. Like, yeah, the original meme might have encouraged the unrealistic expectation that I could get a back rub from Ryan Gosling, but this is encouraging women to want a father replacement in the form of a husband. Gross.
